Data Protection & Privacy
VentureScout enforces strict separation between public discovery data and private workspace assets. While the discovery feed is built on public, open-access literature, all generated dossiers, patent drafts, and execution plans within your Workspace are strictly isolated and private to your account.
Infrastructure & Compliance
- Encryption at Rest: All database volumes and snapshots are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- Encryption in Transit: All communications between clients, application servers, and databases are encrypted via TLS 1.3.
- Authentication: Enterprise accounts support SSO/SAML integration via NextAuth.js and strict role-based access control (RBAC).
Responsible AI & LLM Data Usage
We do not use customer data (including private workspaces, dossiers, or patent drafts) to train the foundational LLMs used for NOVA Scoring or venture synthesis. The context is strictly passed for inference via secure, zero-retention API contracts.
